InnoVida’s GREEN TECHNOLOGY
InnoGreen is InnoVida's ecological initiative designed to promote greener construction practices while highlighting the importance of being friendly with the environment and the community.
To achieve this goal, InnoVida™ continues to enhance its manufacturing techniques and construction methods with a persistent effort to follow new stringent standards published through worldwide organizations that contribute to the preservation of the environment and the welfare of its population.
Our proprietary Fiber Composite Panel (FCP) systems provide a green alternative to conventional materials and methods. Its insulation, strength and durability provide significant energy savings and require less maintenance and upkeep which reduces the cost of ownership and offers an eco-friendly solution.
The InnoVida FCP contributes to a greener future by reducing:
- The negative environmental impact of buildings;
- Conventional building material resources used;
- And human health impacts.
FCP GREEN Characteristics
Energy Efficiency
- InnoVida FCPs have high tested insulation properties. The R-Value of the Panels is 5.65 per inch with a total tested wall R-value or 14.6 for the 2.5 inch Panel and 23.7 for the 4 inch Panel.
- High insulation properties result in reduced HVAC needs which can produce energy savings up to 40 percent.
- InnoVida promotes the use of ENERGY STAR qualified products which contribute to energy conservation and preserving natural resources.
- InnoVida offers the use of alternative energy in many of its designs with the option to integrate solar panels as an energy source.
Resource and Waste Reduction
- Reduced framing – InnoVida buildings do not require the use of steel, wood or concrete in constructing the envelope.
- Reduced labor demands – One-third faster than conventional building construction.
- Minimal production debris, thus avoidance of environmental contamination and or clean up.
- No need of heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes.
- Water and sewer access is not needed during construction processes.
Sustainability
- InnoVida FCPs are waterproof and do not provide a food source for algae or mold.
- Low maintenance – FCPs do not provide a living environment for termites or rodents and have a long life span.
- Hurricane resistant - The Wall Panel and Roof Panel were tested and approved for wind speeds above 156 mph.
- High Strength – The Panels are load-bearing allowing for a vertical compression load capacity of 10,000 lbs/sqft and a horizontal compression load capacity of 400 lbs/sqft.
