Building with FCP is unique. The process eliminates the need for a number of elements that are required in conventional construction so the entire structure is a combination of fiber composite panels laminated with proprietary Innovida Bond creating a monolithic building. All construction elements in an FCP building support the structure and each other. Load calculations can allow for interior walls to function as support elements eliminating beams in many designs.
Pre-fabricated FCP building elements are prepared at the Innovida manufacturing facility. Standard panels are available in a variety of shapes and sizes up to 19'6"x8'3" in a single continuous panel. Pre- fabrication services include cut outs for windows, doorways and architectural curves and angles.
At the construction site FCPs are erected, joined and finished using Innovida Bond which matches the chemical characteristics of the FCP. When joined the lamination creates what is referred to as "cold welding" or a "chemical weld". These welds are extremely strong, providing exacting tolerances that cannot be equaled with common fasteners such as screws and nails.
Standard building finishes and MEP installations are easily done at the completion stage. The pre-fabricated elements are completed in the Prefab Factory, ready for the construction site.
A standard house can be constructed from the prefabricated elements in only 1 - 3 days
